Professor Timo E Strandberg can choose to keep taking a statin daily, for decades, in order to live 3 days longer [1], as long as he informs all his patients thoroughly on statin small therapeutic benefit and common side effects.
Then, patients will decide for themselves if it is worth the risk and cost of assuming a daily statin for decades.
