The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) has written to the health secretary to demand an end to the inequality between the way that GP undergraduate training placements and hospital training placements are funded.
Helen Stokes-Lampard, chair of college, called for GP practices to get the same funding as hospitals for hosting medical students as part of their training.
