Quality and Outcomes Framework faces radical reshape in England but will be retained

The Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) is set to be radically reshaped in England but will be not abandoned completely, after an official review published detailed recommendations on the future of the GP incentive scheme.1

A report from NHS England’s national advisory group on the future of QOF, which examined whether to retain, reshape, or abolish the QOF—as Scotland has—said that aspects of the system were “both valued and valuable.”
