The GP leading a government commissioned review into the partnership model has said that he disagrees with calls for all GPs to be offered salaried NHS employment.
Speaking at the Next Generation GP conference in London on 20 June, Nigel Watson, chair of the review and chief executive of Wessex local medical committee, said, “I think the NHS needs [GP] partnerships, and it needs us to work together.”
