Couldn't agree more.
I'm not a 'travel health professional' any more than I'm 'occupational health professional' yet increasingly I'm supposed to do all of this in 10 minutes.
Travel is either work or a choice. With the former, the employer should organise things and with the latter, there are several Travel Health services a person can go to. I'm quite happy to provide a printed summary that includes medication and immunisation information that the patient can take to either but, as a GP I'm not prepared to carry out a Fit to Travel and/or Fly assessment.
That's not a core service.
