Over 1500 visa applications from doctors blocked in four months

Over 1500 visa applications from doctors wanting to work in the UK were refused over a four month period, figures gathered by the Campaign for Science and Engineering show.1

The results of a freedom of information request sent to the Home Office show that between December 2017 and March 2018 the government refused 1518 applications for certificates of sponsorship for doctors.
