A doctor whose arrest in connection with the deaths of more than 70 children at a hospital in India and that led to a public campaign to free him has been granted bail.
Kafeel Khan, a paediatrician at a hospital in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, was arrested in September last year after more than 70 children died in Gorakhpur’s Baba Raghav Das Medical College Hospital within a week last August.1
