Physical activity reduces the risk of developing depression in people of all ages, a large meta-analysis has reported.1
“Our robust analysis of over a quarter of a million people found consistent evidence that people who are more active are less likely to develop depression in the future,” said study author Brendon Stubbs, from the Institute of Psychiatry at King’s College London, UK.
