Commissioners are warned not to spend too little on mental health

Commissioners have been told to improve spending on mental health services locally or face sanctions from NHS England.

A letter was sent on 4 April by NHS England’s national mental health director, Claire Murdoch, to all clinical commissioning groups and sustainability and transformation partnership leads.
