More patients will receive urgent surgery sooner by implementing a vascular networks model across the NHS in England, a report has said.1
The model would save lives by reducing the likelihood of patients having life threatening strokes, transient ischaemic attacks, aortic aneurysm ruptures, and arterial blockages, said the report from NHS Improvement’s Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) programme.
