Re: Biology conference in Italy sparks criticism for including anti-vaccine speakers

Amusing that the conference organisers are being criticised for including “anti-vaccine speakers”. I would have thought it appropriate for both pros and cons to be heard and then let us have a debate.

I used to vaccinate myself against smallpox before venturing forth to see POSSIBLE smallpox imported from abroad - this was in the London Borough of Redbridge, department of public health, before 1974. And I got all my family vaccinated whenever the circumstances dictated.

It is a fact that in the UK at least, the public health experts - academic as well as NHS specialists have refused to engage in debate in the BMJ in respect of INDIVIDUAL immunisation practices and the “vaccines” used. I have written vaccine in quotes as the term is nowadays used to describe any and every pharmaceutical product aimed at producing antibodies against an infectious disease.

Competing interests: I like to hear both sides of any argument. A proper debate.
