Re: David Oliver: Getting serious about prevention

As per usual David talks a lot of commonsense. Like my case I am "flogging myself to death" propping up a failed care system that should be supporting my husband to stay safely at home. It involves surviving on 4 hours of sleep every night, no holidays, no breaks, heavy lifting etc etc. Eventually I know my body will break down so adding to the burden on the NHS. If society helped instead with an adequate safe environment ie accessible housing to perform care at home and some much needed adequately qualified care staff , then I could spend time keeping myself fit and healthy.

Prevention, Prevention has got to be the way to go....
