I thought that the human race had evolved into a civilized society yet we allow humans to struggle & suffer when we give animals peace when they are terminally ill or in constant, immense pain. I also thought we, as individuals had the right to self determination therefore, if in sound mind, have the right to decide if we wish to end our lives, if we want to, for whatever reason but especially if we are facing a painful & prolonged death.
Many other countries of the world have successful laws & guidelines to make sure that all involved in the procedure adheres to strict regulations to ensure that the patient has the dignified death that they desire.
Yes, I think that doctor assisted dying should be legal.
