I applaud the letter written by Nick Ross to the GMC. As a user of the NHS, I have seen how hard the junior doctors work without break. The NHS, partly due to lack of funding, political interference and poor management, is at breaking point. Morale is low all through the organisation. The hierarchy of the profession instead of supporting the junior colleagues use them as sacrificial lambs. I also have no doubt that ethnicity has played a major part in the GMC's hurried decision.
