There is more than one national structured education programme for people with Type 2 diabetes. The X-PERT Diabetes Programme offers patients an individualised approach recognising that one size doesn’t all. Participants develop the knowledge, understanding and confidence to make informed decisions regarding their chosen dietary approach and track progress against their health goals. There are now more than 100,000 patients on the audit database and clinical outcomes replicate improvements demonstrated in the clinical trial.
