Dismay at suspension of GP who falsified prescriptions to treat his depression

This is characterised as fraud and dishonesty but is surely just plain obfuscation and secrecy around a stigmatised condition in a more than decent doctor struggling to cope on their own. Exhortations toward better self care are hollow if there is no mercy for those who prioritise others above themselves. Neo-puritanism flourishes in the morally bankrupt.
