The Scottish surgeon says that perioperative practitioners are an expanding workforce

“The faculty of perioperative care at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh was created in March 2016 to provide education, training, and support to perioperative practitioners in advanced roles. These practitioners have been working in the US for a while now and are becoming more common in the UK. This is a workforce that’s only going to expand.
