Women undergoing surgery for abdominal aortic aneurysm have nearly twice the 30 day mortality of men, a systematic review has found.1
Results also showed that fewer women were considered for endovascular repair, and the authors said that the review highlighted the need to improve management of abdominal aortic aneurysm in women.
