Leng provides the website address for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines on statin use for primary prevention of cardiovascular disease and points out that linked tools support informed decision making by clinicians and patients.1 I agree that this website provides clear and useful information for patients and clinicians; I applaud all the work NICE does in this regard, which should serve as an example to other guideline developers.
