Yoga may improve symptoms of lower back pain, says Cochrane review

Yoga may reduce the symptoms of lower back pain by a small amount in the short term, a Cochrane review of the evidence has concluded. However, the researchers recommend more studies over a longer term.
The systematic review summarised the results of 12 randomised trials including a total of 1080 men and women aged 34 to 48 with chronic non-specific back pain.1
