Climate change is harming Americans’ health, US doctors warn

Although most people in the US think of it as a distant threat, climate change is already harming their health, a consortium of 11 doctors’ groups warns in a new report. “We—physicians in medical societies representing over half of the nation’s doctors—see a need to share our growing understanding and concern about the health consequences of climate change with all Americans,” said their report, released Wednesday 15 March.1
