Around half of NHS doctors who were trained in other countries in Europe are considering leaving the UK because of concerns over the effect Brexit will have on their working life and right to stay in the country, MPs have been told.
There was a general feeling of worry about what Brexit could mean for those NHS doctors who trained elsewhere in the European Economic Area, said Charlie Massey, chief executive and registrar of the General Medical Council.
