A French orthopaedic surgeon has been suspended for 12 months by the UK Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service after he performed surgery at London’s Charing Cross Hospital and a private hospital without a UK licence to practise.

Xavier Ohl, who qualified at the University of Reims in 2008, was invited to undertake clinical and research activities in Britain.
