I am not sure about the numbers who took to the streets to protest, but who ever took to the streets did not do so merely for the dissolution of MCI. I do not think that there are too many supporters for MCI out there. They all took to the streets because there is no safety for doctors in India. Doctors get beaten up too often in India. I am not sure whether it is the case in any other country in the world. We need a lot of introspection here!
