Contribution of the Citizenry
=======================

As humanity is gradually inching towards the unattainable goal of conquering various diseases that afflict human beings, the ' remarkable ' news from Sri Lanka, the island nation in the Indian Ocean, about
eliminating malaria from its domain, is certainly a milestone. In this process a multitude of factors acted synergistically.

Not to be ignored is the unusually high level of literary sophistication of the twenty million population which painlessly and noiselessly contributed to the final historic outcome.
