Trump and Clinton clash over Obamacare in second presidential debate

The US presidential nominees Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump revealed their conflicting stances over the future of President Barack Obama’s signature healthcare law in the second presidential debate held at Washington University in St Louis, Missouri, on Sunday 9 October.

The Democrats’ candidate, Clinton, vowed to fix the Affordable Care Act, while the Republican, Trump, promised to repeal and replace Obamacare with something much less expensive.

The two nominees squared off over healthcare in response to a question from a member of the public.
