Three Florida residents have been charged with conspiracy, money laundering, obstruction of justice, and fraud, in connection with a $1bn (£0.76bn; €0.91bn) scheme involving numerous unnamed Miami based healthcare providers.1

Officials from the US Department of Justice, which brought the charges, have called the case the largest single criminal healthcare fraud case ever brought against individuals.
