Induced labour is not associated with risk of autism, say researchers

A nationwide sample of live births has found no association between induction of labour and autism.1 Writing in JAMA Pediatrics researchers said that the previously reported link between induced labour and autism was unlikely to be causal and should not factor in the clinical decision making process about whether to induce labour.
