Leisure time physical activity is linked to reduced risk of many cancers, review finds

Higher levels of leisure time physical activity are associated with lower risks of 13 different types of cancer, shows a review of studies including more than one million people.1

Researchers pooled data from 12 US and European cohorts collecting information on self reported physical activity from a total of 1.44 million people from 1987 to 2004.
