Immunotherapy tablet helps control asthma in people with house dust mite allergy

Patients with house dust mite allergy related asthma showed improvements in asthma control when given sublingual allergen immunotherapy on top of their usual medicine, research published in JAMA has found.1

Sublingual allergen immunotherapy involves small doses of an allergen contained in a soluble tablet placed under the tongue.
