People with psoriasis may have an increased risk of developing abdominal aortic aneurysm, a Danish study has found, and the risk seems to increase with the severity of psoriasis.1
Abdominal aortic aneurysm becomes more common with age, and emerging evidence has shown that it has a distinct inflammatory component rather than occurring simply as a result of atherosclerosis.
