I am responding to Mr Blank of Birmingham.

Having no personal expertise, my reactions are based on what I read in the BMJ. Media have no influence on my thoughts.

If it is true (please see Dr Sarapanidis's response) that there is Aedes in Greece. And if it is true that Lucky Bamboos have brought Aedes to Holland. And further, if it is true that BRITS go to Greece, seeking sun, that they go to Brazil and other affected countries hoping for sun and possibly sexual pleasures. If it is true that they ARE NOT going there in Burkas - I must conclude that bites from Aedes are very likely in such places.
