Re: The authors respond

Hemkens et al. still do not acknowledge the bias of the inversion method that they used. This bias has nothing to do with regression to the mean. As a complement to the previously presented mathematical proof, we have posted a summary of some simulation results that may be easier to digest, indicating the magnitude and direction of the bias.
