Ranjit Kumar Chandra, the doctor accused of fraud and financial deception by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), has been ordered to pay the broadcaster just over $C1.6m (£0.8m; €1.1m; $US1.2m) in costs after losing the court case he brought against it this summer.1
