British nurse makes “full recovery” from reactivated Ebola virus

Pauline Cafferkey, the British nurse who developed meningitis as an “unusual late complication” of infection with the Ebola virus, was discharged from high dependency isolation in London on 11 November and is in a “stable” condition in hospital in Glasgow.
A spokesperson for the team that treated her in London said that they were “delighted that Pauline has made a full recovery from Ebola and is now well enough to return to Scotland.” They said that Cafferkey was “no longer infectious.”
