Novartis agrees to pay $390m in US kickback case

Novartis AG, the Swiss drug company, has agreed to pay $390m (£255m; €352m) to settle a lawsuit in which the US government claimed that the company had paid kickbacks to specialty pharmacies to boost sales of its drugs.
