Meador's last well person

This is a lovely essay, full of hard truths that many doctors, most politicians, and all the general media have little interest in. But we have been warned before, probably even before Meador's essay about "The last well person" [1]. To take just one quote from it:

"A public in dogged pursuit of the unobtainable, combined with clinicians whose tools are powerful enough to find very small lesions..."
