Obama supports ban on therapy to change sexual orientation of youth

The Obama administration will support legislation to ban therapy that seeks to change the sexual orientation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender young people.
The administration posted its position on the White House website on 8 April in response to a petition submitted to the president through the White House’s online “We the People” petition web page.
