Rochdale couple jailed for £229 000 NHS fraud conspiracy: Two NHS managers who defrauded the North West Strategic Health Authority of £229 000 (€290 000; $360 000) between 2003 and 2008 have been jailed for a total of over five years. John Leigh (54) and Deborah Hancox (44), who worked at the North Western Deanery, were arrested in December 2013 in Cyprus and extradited to the UK, having fled the country in 2009.
