Watchdog orders tobacco company to remove advertisement for smoking app

The United Kingdom’s advertising watchdog has ordered Imperial Tobacco to withdraw an advertisement for a mobile phone app called “Smoke Spots” because it “presented smoking in a positive light.” The app and website ( help smokers to find venues and events where they can smoke and that they can rate for other users.
