Report shows causes of maternal deaths in India

The deaths of Indian women in childbirth are recounted in a report on maternal mortality published last month. Dead Women Talking—published by CommonHealth, a coalition working on maternal and neonatal health and safe abortion—reported the deaths of 124 women in 10 states from January 2012 to December 2013.1
