A partnership of NHS organisations has been selected ahead of leading private providers as the preferred bidder for the largest contract to provide NHS services in England since the government’s healthcare reforms of 2013.

UnitingCare Partnership—a consortium of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust—was announced as the preferred bidder for the £800m contract to provide older people’s healthcare and adult community services across Cambridgeshire and parts of Northamptonshire and Hertfordshire.
