As a fellow doctor who works in the NHS I believe we all want the same thing, to improve the service we love.
Most doctors would agree that the Health and Social Care Bill has been a disaster, particularly the privatisation of services which it enabled. Most people want these aspects of the bill repealed. Labour has promised to do this. The majority of doctors have also called for more funds within the NHS. Once again Labour have promised to do this with £2.5 billion pounds extra per year.
Yes there may be an argument for more funding, but does criticising the only party which is taking the NHS seriously achieve the goal? Perhaps the advice contained within this article should be more directly focused towards other political parties which are yet to offer any positive plans for the NHS.
