Beneficiaries of teenager’s legacy announced: Seven hospitals in England and Scotland with specialist cancer units for young people are to get funding to improve their facilities from the £4.96m (€6.2m; $8.1) raised in an appeal for the Teenage Cancer Trust launched by 19 year old Stephen Sutton, who died from cancer in May. The units in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Nottingham, Oxford, and Sheffield will receive £2.9m, with further money going towards training nurses and support staff and to improve the trust’s information service. …
