What is terrorism?

Terrorism is a Gordian knot with hydra-headed tentacles. Sadly, we hack at the tentacles of ideology, but ignore the knot of biology. Most terrorists are thin, malnourished, dehydrated, and addicted to nicotine, caffeine, sweets, and drugs; all of which lead to insatiable cravings, frustration, anger, and violence. Since biology trumps ideology, we should focus on eliminating malnutrition, dehydration, and addiction. It's more humane to cure your enemies than to kill them.
