Commissioners in Bristol agree to procurement policy changes after legal challenge

A clinical commissioning group (CCG) in southwest England has agreed to change its policy on consulting the public about changes to its services after a legal challenge from patients. Bristol CCG’s procurement policy originally omitted to state that the public would be consulted on all stages of its plans to change services, as is required under the law.
