NICE advises certain groups to take daily vitamin D supplement

Health professionals should recommend a daily vitamin D supplement to people who are at risk of deficiency, says draft guidance from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.1
NICE also calls on Public Health England to develop a national campaign to raise awareness of the importance of vitamin D among health professionals and the public.
