Overweight children could become the “new norm” for Europe, WHO says

A new large scale analysis has shown alarming rates of overweight children across Europe. The World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe, which released the figures from the 53 WHO European Region member states, said that being overweight was now so common in children, it risked becoming the “new norm.”
