Des Spence's articles, over the years, quite often challenged the status quo and the uncertain evidence base of many medical treatments and procedures. He certainly has upset many with his views.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading and mulling over his thought provoking articles although not necessarily agreeing with all of his viewpoints.( 1,2)
It is sad that he has decided to cede and retreat to Scotland. (3).
Has the silence of the majority (who enjoyed his articles) let the vocal minority (who opposed him) influenced his decision? Hope it hasn’t!
