President Barack Obama vowed on Tuesday 3 December to complete the implementation of his Affordable Care Act, despite the troubled launch of the federal health insurance marketplace’s website, Healthcare.gov, and the fierce opposition from foes of the law.
“If I’ve got to fight another three years to make sure this law works, then that’s what I’ll do,” Obama said in a White House speech.
The past two months have been widely viewed as a disaster for the administration’s efforts to implement the 2010 health law.
